My experience is that I had an underperforming contractor and he really let things fall, didn't respond. We spoke to his management, detailed the issues and asked for him to be removed from the contract. They did more than that- they walked him out that day and fired him. Yikes. As a fed manager I've had bad employees that skid by for decades by doing the bare minimum. When they go on PIPs, they raise their performance slightly. Then revert to status quo after. It's so frustrating. [/quote]
