Do you think that something has to cross the line to illegality for it to be a problem? Because you seem awfully hung up on the legal definition of harassment in the workplace, as opposed to a widely-acceptable definition of sexual harassment that does not necessarily warrant an arrest. Legality is not the same as morality.[/quote]

This person's definition of harassment is made up.  There is no "requirement" that you've told the person to stop and they don't stop.  The actual definition in the dictionary:

behavior characterized by the making of unwelcome and inappropriate sexual remarks or physical advances in a workplace or other professional or social situation.[/quote]

So is a catcall while walking down the street or being leered at by someone several seats away on a public bus a "social situation?"[/quote]
