I just moved back to SE because it was quieter than Petworth near the metro. There were 3 shootings on our block over the past year and agree about the rats. I dreaded walking through the neighborhood after sunset as a result. I was going to say that the CVS seems to be fully stocked again but a stray bullet shattered a window there a couple of weeks ago.

That said, much of Petworth is actually quiet. We were in a pocket unfortunately that was not worth the rent.[/quote]
