This is a sensible and perceptive reply. Men do get very mixed signals from society, and other men, and women, about what now constitutes the right move re: paying on dates. Alas, this good reply will be lost on this OP, but since OP's not here for actual advice, maybe someone else here will benefit. [/quote]
