Keep paying ECNL for the yearly west coast beatdowns.
Keep counting other people's money
A fool and his money are soon parted. Maybe stop chugging the ECNL koolaid and check out SYC. If you’re never going to beat the big west coast ECNL teams change leagues and get noticed.
You are not making sense. The worst teams in Showcase B had hundreds of coaches looking at them. The exposure on those teams is greater than GA can provide.
The same coaches attend both ECNL and GA events. The one thing that ECNL clubs generally have over GA is their DOCs have more connections into colleges because they’ve been doing it longer. Which is ridiculous that DOcs hold the keys to players playing in college. Unfortunately is what it is.
Nope -- attendance at GA events is about half of ECNL events. While it is true that some DOCs have those contacts, there are ECNL clubs in the DMV where not a single call was placed yet everyone is recruited.
I guess we look at things differently. For me all I care about is the top 10% of whatever league. The rest of the clubs are just noise.
Why would you look at it like that? P4 is taking people from all 100%. D1 from all 100% Not just from top 10%.
Because if you're not on top 10% league team even if you can juice connections to get on a college team you're not going to see the field. The transfer portal for players that don't fit in with the team they worked so hard to get onto (because they're not good enough) is huge. Top teams tend to have the best players and the worst teams tend to have the worst players. I'm sure there's some anomalies but in general above is true.
