ok, so, you're quoting an article about a bill, and we all know a bill can never have incorrect information in it!

FEHB plans will cover some of the costs of a D+C if the baby is dead. Won't cover anesthesia, so you better be ok with getting scraped in a doctors office or else paying $2000 out of pocket to get knocked out.[/quote]

This is patently false. I’ve had 2 recent d+c’s under general anesthesia for missed miscarriages and each time payed only whatever the standard copay was for any outpatient surgery (I think $75-100) with federal blue cross basic.[/quote]
