Just because some parents of high achievers were shocked and dismayed that their kids didn't get into VT doesn't mean most high achievers aren't getting in. Anonymous websites are about the least scientific samplings of applicants. PLENTY of high stats kids get into VT. They can't take them all.[/quote]
