I’m 52. 5’10” 208lbs Would like to get stronger, cardio fit and drop 10 lbs Daily walking - try to get back into running Strength training - probably start body weight at home. Like the macro concept - more veggies, protein and 35g carbs (if I’m reading carbs part correctly) Reduce alcohol and sweets
PP, I'm 5'4" and also trying to lose 10lbs. I'm doing everything you are and have lost 3 lbs since Dec. I highly, highly recommend strength training. Check out Live Yourself Young on youtube. She is focused on women over 50 who are just starting. She goes very slow. You can start with 5lbs weights. I noticed that by upping my protein (to build muscle) I wasn't hungry for carbs. Dry Jan has helped. I do allow myself a Lindt truffle every once in a while. They will soon be gone! Everything you are doing is correct
