It's true that sometimes mothers are forced to give up children, but sometimes a mother will choose to do this as well. I feel it would have been a valid choice. I feel that some posters in this thread are the same people who were horrified when my child was fostered. They told me I was abandoning my child. They did not know I was suicidal and knew deeply that this has to happen for us to have any chance at a future. [/quote]

I think it is extremely relevant.  There are many reasons a woman may choose adoption.  Just because you don't agree with that choice doesn't give you the right to berate someone for it. [/quote]
