Is he psycho, like the people who lock their family in basement and punish if anyone tries to escape? I mean seriously think about it, what if he really is a genius nut job with uncapped power?
don't worry about, because he's "supernatural" i.e., he exists only in your imagination.
Supernatural doesn’t mean something exists only in a person’s imagination. It means it exists beyond the natural world.
I other words, only in your imagination
No, your understanding is limited on this matter.
In other words, only in your imagination -- and, in religion, taught to people for them to believe in under threat of internal punishment. Other supernatural beings, like fairies, often believed in by children, inflict no punishment on non-believers and adults are not expected to believe in them.
The assertion that the natural world is all there is is a metaphysical and philosophical claim in itself—a claim which you are attempting to proseletyze and impose on believers of other religions with an evangelical fervor. You’re really projecting the whole “religious people forcing other people to believe” something and its quite imperialistic. Then again, self-awareness only exists in the imagination too I suppose.
Calm yourself. The above info on supernatural beings is simply factual. Nothing is imposed, proselytized, forced or imperialistic.
Oh well it must be “merely factual”, because you said so!! Yes massah, whatever you say boss.
Not because anyone said so; because what is natural can be studied scientifically, while what is supernatural can only be believed.
Scientific study is merely observation of phenomenon; it cannot explain “Why” a thing happens outside of human conjecture. At least religious people are honest about what they believe, you seem to be unaware that a belief in nothing is still a belief.
pp seems unaware that non-believers in religion simply reject the claims of supernaturalism espoused by religions.
It’s one thing to reject a belief, but it comes across that you also want to impose your belief on the people who believe in a religion different than yours. People believe God cares about them—why are so many people in this thread hellbent on telling them that he doesn’t? That is literally proselytizing. Or they keep asking why, why, why—why do you care what other people believe at all, and why do they need to prove anything to you when you already have an established belief?
Obsession is an ugly thing.
