I think that the people who circle the wagons and defend APS and Duran no matter what are being short sighted. I'm a Biden and McAuliffe voter but now we've got Youngkin and Miyares because people are so angry about the schools. Probably a Republican Congress next January. You might even get Trump back.  If you keep saying people are dumb and angry and unreasonable for wanting their kids to be in school and receive high quality instruction, they are going to stop listening to you and vote for the other guys.[/quote]

And the elected School Board and County Board has only themselves to blame for Democrats statewide losses (including big shifts in NOVA that threw the election). They let all the governance fall onto the appointed Superintendent, then do ceremonial meetings where they don't do anything or take any responsibility.  The voters only choice is to change their vote statewide.[/quote]
