It sure did impact RIC to DC. I had to take in two friends who had gotten stuck on a North East Regional that left Richmond at 8am Monday and didn’t make it to Union Station until 6am Tuesday. The crew abandoned the train at Quantico but none of the passengers could get off because it was a military base. When they got in at Union Station Tuesday morning the rest of the route was cancelled and everyone off loaded. It wasn’t clear to my friends if the problem was snow or trees but the ran out of food and water in the dining car, toilet paper in the bathrooms and very little info was given out. My friends are trying to get to CT and we are hoping they can get a train out of here this afternoon. [/quote]
