The staff shortages are caused by the asymptotic testing. MCPS’s lack of testing (which is just a function of their incompetence) actually positions them better to stay open. Eventually, like various sports leagues have done, testing will be dropped, but not before a lot of unnecessary quarantines and school closures among area private schools. [/quote]
