Re-posting because its really obvious that Oakland County, Michigan is actually one of the only reliably blue counties. Went for HRC in 2016 and Biden in 2020.

Gun purchases are not just a conservative thing. I know plenty of liberals with weapons. Bad parenting bought this gun for this kid. Bad parenting allowed him to throw molotov cocktails in his backyard. Bad parenting let him walk into a school and shoot three bright students dead.[/quote]

Who cares whether the shooter and family are conservative?! No one is saying that only liberals can be trusted with guns. A lot of us wish that no private citizens had guns--at the very least that it should be MUCH, MUCH harder to get them. The point is that that the conservatives block all common sense gun control measures even in the face of unspeakable tragedies like Sandy Hook. [/quote]
