We're talking about independent schools in the DC area. It is what it is. 32 is a lot less than many of the other schools. If reading this upsets you, maybe don't come to this forum. There are many posts and threads that will trigger you. [/quote]

I have a kid who went to private school in DC. I know what it costs. I also know that the demographics of the schools that cost $32k a year vary not at all from schools that cost $49.  Anyone who thinks so is clueless about the real world. [/quote]

Actually, it’s very relevant to the topic at hand. Only DCUM bubble dwellers are shocked that students, from any school, are happy to attend the #30 ranked public college in the country.

Personally, I am not shocked. I think there is a relatively small number of people in the bubble of which you speak. Considering the vast number of schools, T30, T50 or even T100 is great.
