As it gets more and more difficult to get into "good" colleges, the unhooked, white and well-off look at schools that a generation ago would not have been on a college list.  A slow dribble of interest, one or two who actually enroll, and reports back of receiving a terrific education and a happy college experience, and before you know it the high school sends a half dozen or so per year to a particular college.  Clemson may be the flavor of the month.  In my day it was USC (South Carolina), Charleston and Elon.[/quote]

In this area, yeah. But I know a lot of attractive young rich gen z/gen aa Indian girls in the tristate area that attend chill colleges and will do magnificent  in life. They are all 5’7 minimum in height, always in designer, look like south Bombay scenesters.

Parents are usually biz owners (real estate) or in finance.
