How will a school that does not mandate be able to compete with the ones that do mandate?
The more parents are educated the more they know, the more they dig in. I am guessing that those who are happy with mandate will cluster in specific schools and said parents will avoid them. There will be schools that don’t mandate and will leave it up to parents, and they will attract a more diverse group of parents.
So why not leave it be and let some school target families that want a mandate and let others target families that want no mandate. Let the market sort this out.
If you set up brand new and segregated schools, that is one thing. It is not fair to expel any existing parent for a vaccination related problem. Currently some doctors are not accepting any unvaccinated adult, and as a response some doctors are announcing they will. Is that the way you want to see the world, segregated? People bullying each other for choices? Belittling each other for choices? Is that social peace for you? What will be the rule in school that is mandating the vaccine? Vaccinate every 3 month (that is how long the vaccine works to avoid catching the virus), every 6 month? What happens when parents no longer want to be in this situation and want to change it? Will you apologize the parents who got expelled? Or parents who couldn’t get in? Will you just say, ah sorry, we changed our mind? Schools shouldn’t belong to one type of parent, who just exaggerate the risk of unvaccinated kids for their snowflakes, but somehow willing to vaccinate vaccinate with an unproven vaccine for the sake of virtue signaling/ status signaling for themselves.
