Don’t know why your Navisnce says that (is your high school sending athletes to UVA?) but SCHEV reports a 4.48 entering 75th percentile for UvA and 4.46 for W&M. I know a number of applicants, including legacies, who did not get k to UVA so went to W&M[/quote]

Actually it's a pattern across several Naviance profiles at different HS (I know because I've talked to friends and other people on DCUM have noted it)--and it is what Dean J. says about UVA admissions.  At UVA the most important thing about getting in is high grades in rigorous courseloads.  So if you had a  lower SAT but high GPA you still have a shot.  This appears on Naviance at my kid's HS as having a green checks in a long line above the 4.4 mark and mainly red x's below, but there are still a lot of green checks if you are below a 1300 on the SAT as long as you have that GPA.  W&M has more a ratio of GPA and SAT--students can have a 3.8 GPA and a 1550 SAT and get in and 4.4 and 1250 SAT and not get in.  The data comes mainly pre-pandemic though (3 years prior) so I don't know how it impact here.[/quote]
