I also would support. And I think that we could fix the grocery store situation with a combination of a government-provided household subsistence pack delivery every week. It could be tailored to fit the number of people in the household and any dietary restrictions. For example, my family of four has two teens who need a lot of calcium, but one of which is lactose intolerant. We could check a box that selected Lactaid milk or more calcium rich veggies. A family that eats halal or kosher could select vegetarian foods that would not violate their religious restrictions. Households that want to opt out of the weekly delivery could be given a one-time gift card that would allow them to shop for themselves during the week before lockdown begins. At 11:59 pm the day before the lockdown, the funds revert to the government and if families run out, they can apply online for a generic subsistence box.[/quote]
