Why has no one stated the obvious? If all the men in your social circle are attracted to one women then they are probably in competition with each other to demonstrate their social dominance via securing attention of most homogenous symbol for success.
Or, she’s really hot.
But isn’t this a lame competition? Her DH already won. There’s no mystery.
Mystery, competition: what? She’s hot, and she’s maybe fun to listen to. There’s satisfaction in that.
Women who are stuck with those DHs have no prize. That's the bigger picture here. I suspect OP is exaggerating a bit with the term "crushing". And exclaiming "All the dads...". Doubtful, but whoever was doing that screams - Creepy married guy alert to any normal well adjusted woman. fyi
I think there is a reasonable expectation that either side in a marriage won't be a shameless flirt. There are some women AND men looking for an out in their marriage, out of desperation and stupidity, and to think that they are that incestuous is well...gross. If you are willing to flirt with the first thing that begs for attention, well, I don't know what to tell you, but you are pretty much hopeless. If you don't want to do the work, but want someone that is readily available and will settle for anyone, what does that say about you - that you are a catch? LOL. If they do it with you, they will do it to you - I have a higher opinion of myself than that.
