As this thread points out - a lot of us have opinions on this and *shocker* share the opinion that Kate is lazy. What are you -- on her staff? We can talk about it as much as we want.

It’s a handful of people (actually I suspect it’s 1 or 2) that just keep saying the same thing over and over and over again which is why this thread is as long and as bizarre as it is. I'm not on Kate's staff and really have no opinion on the Royal Family.  I just find it difficult not to point out when people are being irrational and making statements based on nothing more than opinion/gossip.  So what if Kate is lazy?  How does it impact you?  How is it your business?  The British people have chosen a constitutional monarchy as their form of government.  If they weren't happy with having a Royal Family, they have means to abolish it and/or de-fund it.  As long as Kate and Meghan are married to royals, they and their families determine how much/how little they do - and that has absolutely no impact on you or yours.

I’m a totally DP,  but why are you so steadfastly offended by the fact that people are *gasp* discussing things on a discussion board? Must everyone have the same opinion as you? You are strangely defensive about Kate, which is what other people are pointing out. She’s not your friend... she is a public figure.

I think Kate is lovely. Her hair is always perfectly bouncy, and she always seems in control. But, I agree she isn’t working up to the standards that should be expected of her role, and I also think she (and her parents) have had their eye on that role for her long before she met Wills.[/quote]
