I am a moderate and I have never met a Democrat who actually believes that people who disagree with their position "hates" the population in question.  I guess that's an anecdote that conflicts with your anecdote.

It is extremely disingenuous to claim that the Democratic move to the left is a tendency towards "extremism."  Which positions do you believe are so extreme?

I have noticed (my own anecdote) that Republicans like to talk about how mean Democrats are and make vague allusions to "extremism" without discussing actual policies.  Hmm.  I wonder why that is.[/quote] i know a liberal so bigoted it’s dusgusting. He’s from
India and thinks Indians who marry non Indians are “race traitors”. I have multiple other Indian friends who married whites and my white best friend married abinduan woman. He literally called Nikki Haley a race traitor though I think had she been a democrat he would have bit his lip and not says it but he’s still think it. [/quote]
