A shift in power ??? Having a good team at u13-14 does not mean you will be good at 16-19. McLean and BRYC are going to bring in  players at those age groups. Both of those clubs have connections with top colleges, national teams and are killing it u15 and above. Please don't be so Naive. U13-14 VDA Parents need to watch the older age groups. [/quote]

The situation is completely reversed in the younger age groups, where VDA teams are consistently strong and BRYC teams are pathetic.  When U19 age group graduates next year, BRYC will lose 31 points and VDA only 5.  Without the graduating teams, the clubs will be separated by mere 8 points and if VDA brings a strong incoming class, they will easily pass BRYC in total points.  As for connections to national teams, you are naive if you think that BRYC offers a good pathway.   Your best chance to get a call up is to join a DA club.       [/quote]
