I have a 5th grader in a CES. Talking to many parents, and a majority have decided to stick with their home MS. Makes it seem that the Magnet will actually become less competitive. My kid is taking the test, but we will not waste the time and energy to travel down to Takona Park if she gets on. Especially because MCPS has made it clear that TPMS is not meant to draw the highest performing kids.
