I agree, although there are certain spots where women are riskier with fashion...cities on the west coast, LA, SF, Portland, Seattle..
There are cities where women are not particularly risky at all, but very put together and stylish, Dallas, Atlanta, and other southern cities both big and small...

But you are right. Most American women are just not as stylish as our counterparts from cities across the world. We don't have the money or the time and our culture does reward it[/quote]

You're holding up Portland and Seattle as epicenters of fashion?!?  I like both cities - a lot - but part of the reason is how outdoorsy people there are.  People earlier in the thread were complaining about too much northface - that's nothing compared to the percentage of fleece and hiking wear worn day-to-day in Portland and Seattle!  I can't even imagine a Seattle blog ripping people to shreds for wearing Keens out for everyday errands, the way that DCUM does.[/quote]
