My husband is amazed that his mother leaves me alone, but gives my sister-in-law fits.  This is totally my secret.  Because I never take the bait, picking on me is no fun.  I do make small talk, but never anything revealing or deep.  FWIW, this is also part of the secret to dealing with bullies at work.  The other part of the secret to dealing with bullies at work is to smile and very sweetly tell them to go *&^% themselves, and then turn back to your work. [/quote]
