I took class this week with a coach who used to be a regular but now isn't thanks to schedule changes, and added springs during upper body.  NBD.  It takes so little time and is so worth it.  How they keep track of who gets what spring is beyond me, so I try to keep an eye on it myself.  I give my regulars the benefit of the doubt if they can't remember whether I had an extra white on there or whatever.[/quote]

I agree with this-unless you get a coach that yells specifically not to change the springs during arms (I do it anyway because I can’t ever flag her down, but I def get a look). Most coaches realize that sometimes they get the springs off or can’t get over you in time to switch them in a timely manner.[/quote]

WTH-how weird.  Another former regular put me on such light weight for chest a month or so ago, and it sucked.  She just told us to go slower and I was like, yeah, I could do one rep in 30 seconds and it would still be too light.  I would probably avoid a coach who glared at me for changing my own springs.  Or for any reason, frankly.  I don't need that negativity![/quote]
