From what you've written, I think you might have come across as insensitive when replying to her post.  She was not initially passive-aggressive.  She straightforwardly told you she was hurt by her DD's exclusion.  You essentially explained to her she was wrong to be hurt.  You could, instead, have explained to her the logic of the photo and assured her you did not intend to exclude your other GDD or hurt her.  You could even have offered some other way of acknowledging both of your GDDs.[/quote]
