Yes, men clearly hate tall women.  Tall women never get any attention or validation.  It's a real cross to bear.

They are jerks and telling her that, even if true, was definitely not cool.  It totally gave her a complex.  And her personal experiences have backed up thaeir assertions, so... yeah.  Needless to say I have given her many pep talks about how lots of guys will love her height.  But these are her experiences (and they are valid) [/quote]

Did you... wander into this thread without seeing the title or reading the first post? Or not read the original post I was responding to?  They both spoke on the "tall women getting less attention than short women from tall men" thing.

OP:  Looking through the threads, I noticed something kind of interesting. Most of the women on the "tall women" thread were married to shorter guys, and most of the women on the "short women" thread seem to be married to tall guys.

I wonder why this is? Natural selection or something? Seems so odd.

Again, where and what others have experienced that "guys hate tall women"??  YOU are the only one who is saying that (on behalf of your friend).  The OP asked why tall men might be inclined to date short women and even offered a thought it might be natural selection.  I actually don't even agree this is a thing - tall men consistently picking short women.  If it is a thing, I don't agree with your assessment that "guys hate tall women" and by the way, no one else said that but you.
