I'm the OP. All I wanted to do was give a little shout-out to the police for their efforts in this massive storm. It doesn't mean I don't realize that a small minority of them are bad - there's been enough press and violence on that. I just feel bad for the vast majority of police who are truly heroes and thought it appropriate to recognize their efforts. But there's so much animosity that it seems one can't even say a kind word about cops without being told, angrily, that there are exceptions. Unreal.[/quote]
