I think this poster nailed it. It's not that we don't want to watch, because the story is good, and we all want to live in star's hollow, but each season you roll your eyes a little more at the eating and the dialog (like clerks- good but nobody is really that fast/witty/smooth) and then all of a sudden you are that boiling frog. You are in it and didn't realize how slowly awful it was getting while you were immersed in it... I watched to the end and was sad at the last episode but I still agree with the insufferable analysis![/quote]

I'm the PP and I also watched every bloody episode.  The early ones really were so funny and charming, I felt I had to keep watching to see if it would pick up like that again.  Every few episodes there would be a hidden gem, so I'm glad I did watch all of it.  And I cried at the very last scene with Luke and Lorelai  - but at the same time, I was thinking, REALLY?  It took you [b]this[/b] long??   :wink: [/quote]
