Great food, great tapas, great wines, beautiful historic city centres, the Alhambra, spectacular cathedrals (especially the one in Cordoba that used to be a mosque, very, very interesting), great city life and street atmosphere. #2.  i lived in Seville for a summer after college and it is sooo wonderful.  lots of tiny little streets to explore, Andalusian food is amazing, shopping, etc.  day trips to Cordoba and Granada are easy and wonderful.  a lot of what to see in Seville is outside, so not really museum-y.  i would totally agree with this itinerary!!!
