Consider this scenario: Parent redshirts son who then starts K at 6. He is 15 when he finished MS. Freshman year, he turns 16, but struggles with social issues and doesn't earn enough credits to advance to sophomore. At the end of his second freshman year, he is 17. He could well be 18 by the spring of freshman year.[/quote]
