I didn't vote during college because I went away for school and didn't think about absentee ballots until it was too late (and barely paid attention to the news). [/quote]

I'm the quoted poster. I also skipped a few years of voting during college, same reason. The logistics can be weird at first. Besides, is the way people on this thread have treated OP the way we would be proud to see our teen or young adult children interacting with others online? If not... hmm.[/quote]
