I don't think I've ever seen towels better than those by Macy's hotel collection. We have their Turkish bath towels. There are the more expensive finest luxury collection towels and the less expensive micro cotton towels. All three are excellent. However I get the Turkish towels in white only because the products I use on my face end up bleaching the colored towels. Restoration Hardware's towels are really good too but I like Macys more.
This. And yes I realize this thread is a few years old. We got Macys Hotel Collection towels for our wedding 6 years ago. Since we lived in a small space, I only registered for two. We have used them almost continuously for SIX YEARS and they are still in great shape. The same two towels. It's crazy. We have a house now and my DH was finally like "maybe we should buy some more of these?" so yeah, we will. But I highly recommend. We also have RH towels, which are good too, but not as soft. They hold up really well though. We don't use them since my DH uses acne products that ruin the dye.
