The intruder is not dead. Did you even read the article?

There is something about this story that doesn't add up. Seems odd that they took the couple to the basement. And he just so happens to store his Unsecured Self-Defense Gun in the basement? Or does he have Unsecured Self-defense Guns stashed all over his house? If so, I hope he never has children or mentally unstable people in his home. And he's damn lucky that his stash was not used against him.

OP, why is it that you gun enthusiasts feel the need to point out every good guy with a gun scenario, but you never even acknowledge the 91 deaths per day in this country by gun violence? Every now and then, a good guy with a gun saves lives. That may or may not have been the case here. I think if their intention was to kill them, they would have done so before taking their be[/quote]
