An accident that was entirely preventable.
Kids drown in pools and lakes. That's preventable too.
Pools don't exist for the sole purpose of bringing about death. Bad analogy. Offensive, even.
Guns exist for protection against government tyranny. Ask the Jews. Ask the Iraqis. Guns also exist for self-protection. Sometimes that involves death. And sometimes it's a very good thing.
You're too stupid to own a gun. Please identify yourself so we can come confiscate yours. Thanks.

Invader tried to hold him and his wife at gunpoint. Now the invader is dead. Of course if he wasn't allowed to use his 2nd Amendment rights, he'd be dead and his wife probably raped and dead
What's your point? Nobody is trying to take away yoyr right to keep a gun in your house for self defense. We simply want proper background checks, registration and training. Since this man was successful, I have a feeling he would have passed a test with flying colors. Therefore, reasonable gun laws would not have prevented him from saving the day. However, it might have prevented the intruder from getting a gun.
pp here. I would like to take away OP's right to a gun. Seriously. Or, if that cannot be done, let's just tax the hell out of ammunition. Say, $1,000 per round.
You obviously have nothing of value to protect. That includes family.

Which is why there are laws regarding pool and lake safety. Pools have to have fences and locks. Lakes have restrictions on when/where you can swim or boat.
So do guns

Are you an American?
Yes. The amount of stupidity in America is breathtaking. Most of them shouldn't be allowed to vote, either.
