The point is that there are a lot more radical religious people and entities outside the US. INS is very good at keeping out the majority of those religious fanatics that would do harm. Here in the territorial US, we are far more in danger of terrorism based on other factors than religion. I agree that we need to find ways to discourage violence and domestic terrorism, but banning a huge portion of our immigrants simply based on race, is not warranted from the data, only from bigoted gut instincts that "they" are not like "us". The numbers do not tell us what your bigoted gut instinct tells us.[/quote]
