[/quote] That's something that I think hurts everyone. I guess the question is, at what point do we assess a person on their merit rather than on the color of their skin, whether for good or bad? If you are talking about SES, low income vs. upper income, I might agree with you. But, I don't see how giving an upper income Black/Hispanic student extra point just for the color of their skin when there are poor white/Asian students who don't have a fraction of the advantages the wealthy Black/Hispanic student has as being fair.[/quote]
