I'm pretty sure you can only fill prescriptions for controlled medications in the same state in which they are prescribed.I once got my script for my adderall refill the day before I was scheduled to travel to California (I live in Austin, TX). Both the pharmacy where I usually get my prescriptions filled & the next two I tried were temporarily out of adderall in the dosage I needed so I asked the pharmacist if I could just get the prescription filled in California & she said no, because adderall is a controllled substance, the prescription could only be filled in Texas.

It's possible these regulations very by state & OP can, in fact, get an adderall prescription written by a doctor in Maryland, DC, or Virginia filled in Florida but I doubt it.I 'd check with your pharmacist before planning on getting the prescription filled out of stateas you don't want to find out too late that this isn't possible.[/quote]
