There are definitely kids at Landon with ADHD. I know several. The parents just don't talk about it. They are at every single school even Big 3. The big question is whether the school is a good fit for your child personally. All ADHD kids are not the same. I have an ADHD daughter who is never ever a problem at school. The teachers love her. Nobody would know she has ADHD unless we volunteered the info. As long as she takes her medication, the only support she needs in the classroom is extra time.
The school knows your daughter has adhd. It's ridiculous that parents think they're pulling one on the school. Please be open and honest with your children's teachers. Zero shame in adhd
100% agree. The more information you share with the school, the better the school can support your child. Hiding info only sets a child up for failure.
To add, you are an irresponsible parent if you are not up front with the school on any prescribed medication your child is taking during the course of the school day. God forbid the child has an emergency and the school must relay pertinent health info to EMS including medications used.
