There were 850+ applicants for 20-25 seats after the 40 confirmed siblings were admitted. How many seats in pk3 versus pk4? Didn't say. They just randomized the list and put it on the screen. #3 on the pk3 list celebrated and was hugged, as did #12 on the pk4 list so I hope they eventually get a call or email. They applied for an enrollment increase, and if approved, will have 40-50 more seats. At which campus? She wouldn't say.

If there were only 40 siblings, there should be a lot more initial pk3/pk4 slots. 6 classes of 30 right now (a third of which are K age). This would mean 80 or so no-sibling spots. [/quote]

There are 6 classes with 9 or 10 kids in preK 3.  That would mean 60 spots AT MOST. If you subtract the 40 siblings, that means only 20 or so spots. Not sure what is questionable at all. Pk4 spots would only be those that open up because people moved or left the school. I believe they open up a few PK4 spots every year too, but not sure. I only know of one family who moved to Maryland for work.  [/quote]
