[/quote] Absolutely not. I was in a similar situation when I was 12 where I was alone at the bus stop and a man tried to get me to get into his car. He started to turn his car so he would be closer to me on the curb and I took off. I could still to this day tell you everything I saw and felt and thought in the span between him pulling up to me initially and me getting back to my house. The child's brain obviously knew something was wrong and kicked into protective mode. The instinct of fear is real. Good for this child.[/quote]
