I'm just sick at the thought of some deranged monster killing a 2 yr old strapped in her carseat.  Based on how what I read in the paper, it seems like the person shot the baby first and then the mom got and screamed and tried to intervene.  Just sickening!!!

One of my closest friends (with 2 children) refused to ask for financial support from her husband when he divorced her to be with another woman.  She worked two jobs and busted her hump to provide for her children after he left her with nothing. I could never understand how she just let him off of the hook.  She said to me, "he's crazy. If I try to get a dime out of him he may kill me and my children."  I remember it like it was yesterday.
