We have an open concept living room plus a big sectional so literally the only place to put our tv is in a corner that blocks 90% of the only window (other than glass back patio door). I freaking hate it but dh refuses to mount the tv over the fireplace. It sucks and one of the many reasons I've grown to hate our home. [/quote] OP here....I'm with you. Love the new house otherwise, but do wish there was another way. It is a new build, so everything is at least pre-wired for over the fireplace.[/quote]
