Also, since apparently traveling to NYC in January is no big deal for this elderly couple after a recent heart attack, surely OP can make it to NYC with her family to enjoy the time there. I cannot imagine asking my parents for the money - Oh dad, since you aren't feeling well enough to travel because of the HEART ATTACK YOU JUST HAD, can you refund my money?
