Did you ever notice that actual British people don't vary their accents wildly when they play different roles.  She was dreadful in Great Expectations and annoying in the Fall.

Her Lady Dedlock was passable; it was most like her Scully voice just British.  The most damning thing though, she kept doing "duck face" throughout Bleak House.  Dickens is rolling in his grave.

You are so right.  She does duck face throughout "The Fall" too.  She's a good actress, but there's something about her that's always annoyed me.  It's like she takes herself so seriously... I used to LOVE Fox Mulder but not be so crazy about her.[/quote]
