She's not British at all.  She spent elementary school in England,  but returned to the US at age nine (I believe).  Her parents are American.   So her accent is pretty believable, but still fake.[/quote]

She lived in the UK from ages 1-11 and she's lived in London That's pretty significant. Her accent and her passport are a "thing"

Anderson is bidialectal. With her English accent and background, she was mocked and felt out of place in the American Midwest and soon adopted a Midwestern accent.
