You couldn't be more wrong about your assumptions. I have two small children. I posted just one or two entries above about asking my FIL to keep it down constantly because he tells stories at full volume.[/quote] You are just sounding worse and worse. You want to micro manage everything: the time kids go to bed, how loud the adults can talk during the all important adult time. You really sound like you are not cut out for hosting or guesting, as you seem very bad at going with the flow of other's routines and personalities[/quote]
