Before I invest a whole bunch of time, get my hopes up, and start to really like someone -- I want to meet them face-to-face.

If the coffee date goes well, I will exchange phone numbers with them.  Then, I am much more responsive with texts, etc.

Women are just as confused by online dating as men.  She may have just been trying not to look desperate by texting you back so quick.  You just don't know.

Don't take it personally, though.  If a stranger loses interest in you -- it's not because she doesn't like you.  She doesn't even KNOW you.

You want to reach out to several women.  Go on coffee dates with 3-5 of them.  Ask the ones you like out for a second and third date.  Then, if you meet someone you really like, think about becoming exclusive.  If you put all your eggs in one basket, you will be crushed if she doesn't show up for a coffee date.[/quote]
